Pool Sessions

Hi fellow Sebago members,
It is officially winter, and the Sebago Pool Sessions that take place at the Flushing Meadows pool are set to start on Sunday, December 4.
The official time frame for each pool session is from 8:45 am to 11:00 am each Sunday, but we request that all arrive early to prep and get changed. You must register prior to the pool session using this email: sebago-pool@googlegroups.com. You must reserve your spot by Thursday night at 9 pm. Sebago members get first preference and if there are any available spots, non-members will be emailed on Friday stating whether there is a spot for them. You may not attend a pool session unless you have reserved a spot and paid the PayPal bill that you will be emailed once your request has been accepted. The cost for each pool session is $20 for Sebago members and $30 for non-Sebago members if space permits it.
Each participant is expected to take the kayaks off the racks at the beginning of the pool session and help put the kayaks back on the rack after the pool session as well as help put the equipment away and sponge out the kayaks. Sebago will provide all needed equipment, but feel free to bring your own equipment if you prefer.
The pool is a great place to practice skills of all levels, so everyone is welcomed to attend. If there is a specific skill you want to learn or improve upon, just let the instructor know.
- Space is limited and reservations will be taken every week.
- You must RSVP by Thursday at 9:00 pm prior to each session!
- Email sebago-pool@googlegroups.com if you must cancel, even if it is late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. This allows others on standby to participate in your place.
