Canarsie Voyager launched!

Last November, in a program co-sponsored by Sebago Canoe Club, Billion Oyster Program, and Breukelen RISE, a dozen young boatbuilders from the Breukelen Houses began construction of an 18-foot Northeaster dory. Yesterday, along with their families and supporters from the community, they gathered at Sebago to celebrate their achievement and launch the appropriately dubbed ‘Canarsie Voyager.’ Congratulations to all involved, and many thanks to Beth, Naomi, April, John, Chris, Marc, Katie and Marcel for helping to make the event such a success!
