We have a big tide range on the 1st with high tide at 7:05am (6′9″) and low at 1:29pm (-1′1″)!
Intrepid paddlers will be meeting at 9am, launching at 10, celebrating the New Year with a few rolls; while the rolls may be optional, dry suits and other winter gear are not. Any newer members with questions about paddling can reach out to Lori G at loringnyc@gmail.com
Weather permitting, min-temp 20º, max-wind 15mph, sailors (in sunfish with dry suits or equivalent) will be joining the paddlers for a mini-cruise around the bay – rig-up at 9am, launch 10am. Email Holly if you are planning on sailing – sailing@sebagocanoeclub.org
For those who prefer a not-quite-so-invigorating start to the New Year, there will be a potluck starting at 12:30 with a short general meeting at 2:00. Thanks to John Wright and his team of volunteers we all know there is certainly enough wood to keep the Club house warm and toasty.
